Spam Tops Trending Topics

Imagine my surprise this morning when I first saw my Twitter page and noticed the #1 trending topic was “Start Making $60-100″ which obviously isn’t the name of a new movie or the latest news about Miley Cyrus. No, it’s obviously spam and as you can see from the results page, Twitter figured that out too, even though the topic is still at the top of the list.
